Unknown Movies

Unknown Movies is probably the most dear to my heart illustration project but also the strangest one.

The goal is to paint fake horror movie shots as if I found forgotten and strange VHS from the 70'/80' and use them as reference. It's a tribute to my childhood and to the movie atmospheres I grew up with. Those paintings are extremely personal and far from my usual composition style. It's mostly experimental and the focus is on characters' expressions and eerie atmospheres.
